CREW REQUESTS VP LEAK INVESTIGATION INTERVIEW

17 Jul 2008 // Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) has filed a Freedom of Information Act Request to the Department of Justice for records relating to the interview Vice President Richard B. Cheney gave to the FBI as part of Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald’s investigation into the leak of the identity of Valerie Plame Wilson, a covert CIA officer. CREW’s request echoes the House Oversight Committee’s subpoena for these same documents, which Attorney General Michael Mukasey refused to provide.
